The G-Man is a mysterious character that is seen throughout the Half-Life campaigns, wearing the same blue business suit and carrying a briefcase, of which its contents are unknown. He watches players as they progress through the levels, but the exact reasons why continue to remain an enigma. However, one thing is for certain: the player's mission is all according to his master plan, whatever it may be, and thus employs the player should they succeed.
