The M40A1 Sniper Rifle is a powerful scoped weapon used in Sven Co-op. It is favored by AI Assassins and Bodyguards, who use it as one of their main weapons. HECU Grunts can also equip the sniper rifle.

A powerful manual weapon with a slow rate of fire, the M40A1 is a standard sniper rifle, fitted with optics to take out enemies from afar. With a full powered rifle cartridge, it can kill with a single shot to the head of most enemies. Being a hitscan weapon, it is superior to the Crossbow in terms of accuracy and precision when the latter relies on careful timing as well to land shots. However when noscoping, the weapon will be very inaccurate unlike the Crossbow.
